Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy, born 13 June 1962 in the US, is an actress. Her debut in film was Bad Boys (1983). After that she enrolled in the Bratpack and starred as a character in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club(1985) as well as Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy won the Independent Spirit Award in 1998 for best female character. It was because of her performance as Lisa Cholodenko in High Art. Ally Sheedy was born in the US and is a performer and an writer. She began her film career with the crime drama film Bad Boys in the early 1980s, for which she received a lot of praise. The film which was directed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other popular actors such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. In the wake of her success in her first film, she also appeared in the comedy-drama film The Breakfast Club. The film by John Hughes called The Breakfast Club has been hailed as one of most memorable films of high school cinema. Even though it had a budget of only 1 million dollars, the film's earnings exceeded $50 Million. Meanwhile she had also started participating in various television shows including CBS Schoolbreak which was her television debut. The show was targeted at teens which began in April of 1980. Other shows on TV she was in are Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues. One of her most recent appearances is Little Sister. Another one, X-Men Apocalypse a story about a female superhero where she has a cameo. Sheedy is known for her incredible performances. Sheedy has been awarded numerous times, including an MTV Movie Award for Silver Bucket of Excellence Award in the year 2005.
