Mary Marg Helgenberger born 16 November 1958, is an American actress from America. She began her career in the 1980s, and was first noticed due to her portrayal of Siobhan Ryan in the daytime soap opera Ryan's Hope from 1982 to the year 1986. The most famous role she has played is Catherine Willows, a CBS procedural drama. Crime Scene Investigation (2000-13) and then the follow-up TV movie Immortality (2015). Vegas (present-day) was the sequel to the first. Helgenberger is also the character of K.C. Koloski is most well-known for her work in ABC's China Beach drama series (1988-91). She won her the Emmy Award of 1990 as Outstanding Supporting Artist in an Series Drama. The actress has also been featured in the TV shows Under the Dome, Intelligence and in the film Species (1996) Species II (1998), Erin Brockovich (2000) and Mr. Brooks (2007). In 2007, McCain earned an undergraduate degree in Art History from Columbia University. She graduated in 2017 and was co-host of the morning show The View, which she hosted until 2021. For her work she was awarded the honor of four Daytime Emmy Award nominations. McCain's other projects include being an Daily Mail columnist after her time on The View. McCain also wrote four books: Dad John McCain, My Dad John McCain, Dirty Sexy Politics and America You Sexy Bitch.
